voxige's core network is based around our four primary POPs in Telehouse North London, Harbour Exchange Square London, Kilburn House Manchester and TelX New York. The two primary London POPs are interconnected by voxige's dark fibre rings to our other London POPs at Telehouse East, Interxion (Hanbury Street), Telehouse Metro, Sovereign House, Redbus Meridian Gate, Telecity 8/9 Harbour Exchange, Telecity Bonnington House and Global Switch. From London the network uses protected and redundant Packet over SoNET connections to link to Kilburn House Manchester and onwards direct to our New York POP located at 60 Hudson Street.
From Manchester Kilburn House our Manchester dark fibre ring provides connectivity to Williams House and all of the IFL facilities plus metro New York and most of the continental United States via 60 Hudson Street, New York.
Relationships with many other carriers such as BT, NTL:Telewest and COLT allow us to offer full UK reach (Ethernet and SDH) plus major international metropolitan areas.
voxige's IP network has direct peering and transit arrangements with the following Tier 1 Networks: Level 3, Global Crossing and C&W (SAVVIS), plus numerous other Tier 2 and Tier 3 providers whilst on the voice network, direct interconnection with BT and NTL:Telewest/Virgin Media ensures a high level of stability, quality and resilience.
The core network is already QoS and DiffServ capable enabling us to guarantee timely delivery of time critical data such as voice traffic, this combined with the large amount of spare capacity on both the core and voice networks means voxige is ideally placed to fill the void between the existing telecommunications operators and next generation network and service providers.
